GrainEd is an educational intervention, designed to complement mainstream schooling. Objective of the initiative is to impart fundamental concepts of curriculum subjects to students, in an enjoyable fashion. We believe that this would help teachers to impart advanced concepts to students. Professionals and entrepreneurs from various parts of the globe don the hat of GrainEd mentors and deliver integrated courses transcending subject boundaries, primarily for students of class 6-12. Our sessions are Universal and Open. GrainEd is managed by GrainEd Educational Foundation, a non-profit Organisation registered in Kerala, India.
Incorporated in 2016, GrainEd has touched the lives of thousands of students from India, Middle East, UK and USA. GrainEd sessions encourage students to approach learning from an application perspective. Asking questions without inhibitions and building reasoning abilities in little minds, form the basis of this pedagogic practice. Fascinating real life accounts by practitioners with hands on experience, expose students to different career domains and help them to identify and chase own passion.
Many educational institutions partner with GrainEd to nominate students for the courses. We accommodate 50 students for a regular course and admissions are done on a “first come first serve” basis. Students can look at the current sessions and register for the interested programs. Meeting links and details are available in the session page and the same would be sent by mail too. Students can participate in the sessions from the comfort of their home. This platform offers provisions to watch recorded sessions which would be uploaded later, participate in the discussions, raise queries, access the session content, pass feedback and obtain program certificate.
