Along with her meditational studio practice, Prajakta likes to study and work with children and people around her. She tends to explore different levels of viewership in her Art practice. 'Portraiture' was a subject of interest during her academic days and it is a common thread in her process till now. As per Prajakta, it’s the curiosity of a particular experience that forces her to study that particular thing which leads to the work. Apart from 5 solo shows, she has 70+ exhibitions to her credit, including the ones at Australia, London, New York, Dubai, Kenia and Sri Lanka. An artist who is actively involved in children and community projects, she has found her place in many art magazines and catalogues. Recipient of awards from JJ school and leading galleries, Prajakta lives and works at Mumbai.
