This course is a journey through Scientific progress in early human civilisations, medieval progress in Scientific thoughts, Temporary ups and down in Scientific progress in select regions, Lives of famous Scientists, Importance of specific discoveries, Factors that kept Scientific progress in abeyance, Renaissance and evolution of modern Science, Unsolved puzzles, Current areas of research and some future thoughts. The course navigates through Development of geometry and number system, Geo/Helio centric models of Universe, Newtonian physics, Quantum Mechanics, Light, Big Bang, Particle physics etc.
