Fractions and Decimals

The purpose of this course is to simplify Mathematical concepts and help students to easily understand them. Fractions and Decimals are foundational concepts in Mathematics and clarity in the topic would help students to build advanced concepts on top of it. The course covers chapter 2 of class 7 NCERT Mathematics textbook. The topics include basic concept and function of fractions and decimals and Mathematical operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication & division, involving fractions and decimals. Course follows the GrainEd pedagogic principle of “known to unknown”, so as to start from known, practical applications to drive unknown concepts. A visualization method is followed to impress upon the rules of Mathematical operations which are typically items to be memorised. Students of class 7 and those students in higher classes who are struggling with the topic, can attend the course.
