Smitha is Founder, Trainer and Story Educator at Marigold Creative based out of Kochi - A place she set up in 2013, to contribute positively to education and meet the intellectual needs of children. Children's literature enthusiast, an obvious raconteur, lover of Art, History and Culture and a passionate Science Teacher – Smitha dons many hats.
She regularly conducts reading sessions, story sessions, STEAM sessions, nature walks, museum walks and other creative workshops for children and adults. She uses the medium of 'Reading' and 'Oral Story Telling’, to provide opportunities for children to listen to good stories that expand imagination and offer therapeutic benefits. Smitha also works with schools and other institutions to design and enhance curriculum.
She had coordinated Chemistry programme in ICSE, IGCSE, AS and A levels at Vidyashilp Academy, Bangalore for almost a decade.
